THE KAI PO CHE FEST – MAKAR SANKRANTI

The commencement of Spring is celebrated in India as Makar Sankranti. This harvest festival is enjoyed with great vigour and excitement all over India. Also known as Pongal (Tamil Nadu) and Uttarayan (Gujrat), this day is mostly remembered for its kite flying. With hopes as high as kites flying in sky, people wish this that Spring turns out to be prosperous for everyone of them.
While we enjoy our Kai Po Che moments, people also love the sumptuous dishes made especially on this fest like sweets made from sesame (til) & jaggery and puran poli.
The team of Streetbazaar hopes you enjoy the kite flying and lip-smacking dishes to the fullest. We wish you all a very Happy Makar Sankranti…!!!
