We all love one of the most popular character Palak from Comedy Nights With Kapil which is played by a very talented actor, Kiku Sharda. Whether it is Palak or her mother or Laccha, all these characters are given true justice by this comedian.
The recent arrest of Kiku Sharda on a petty issue of mimicking the Dera Chief Guru Ram Rahim Singh has been strongly rebelled by all of the India. Just because he enacted a performance given, designed & directed by the channel, and that too of a person who is trying to portray himself as a God, Kiku was arrested under Section 295 A of IPC.
This arrest has saddened the industry as well as the audience. Kiku getting support from celebrities like Vishal Dadlani, Farah Khan, Vir Das, Kapil Sharma and many more has proved that this arrest was nothing more than a ruthless murder of humour & comedy in our country.
India has become a country where rapists get bailed and the comedians and artists go to jail. It's high time that we think about on what & how we should take action or else, we will dump the diamonds in the garbage and preserve the trash that too by our own hands…!!!
