WARM WINTER WEDDING STYLES

What to wear on your wedding or while you attend someone’s wedding can be quite overwhelming. Indian weddings usually take place during summers or winters depending on which date is decided to be an auspicious one. Although, most couples prefer to have their wedding during the winter season. The weather has a distinctive charm and during winters, weddings are just less exhaustive for old and young alike. There are lesser chances of sweat beads appearing on your face, trickling down your skin and ruining your look.
While men can always depend on their suits and layer themselves with a warmer underneath the sherwanis, winter styling can get slightly tricky for women. After all, who would like to hide their beautiful sarees and lehengas under a shawl? At the same time, you can’t afford to fall sick either. So, all you’ll have to do is, be little smart while choosing your fabrics and silhouettes.
This winter wedding woe of many, stoked us to put on our thinking caps to give the best style advice to look fabulous at the next winter wedding function -
 1. Say yes to full sleeve blouses
Going sleeveless is definitely not a wise choice when you have to brave that winter chill. Full sleeve blouses and anarkalis will not only keep you warm, but add personality to your wedding look. They are also very much in trend and boast of heavy embroidery work. The embellished high necks will be enough and you will just require a good pair of earrings to team with it. You can opt for full sleeve blouses made out of velvet as they look regal.

 2. Layer it well
A lot of designers have come up with eclectic designs that will remind you of the old world charm of dressing elegantly. Those layered dupattas and structured jackets will look great at a cocktail event.

 3. Go Fusion
Jacket dresses paired with straight cut pants have been in vogue for really long now. Not only will they lend a smart appeal to your look, but also keep you at comfort throughout the wedding function.

4. Opt for opulent shawls
Shawls are not just for grandmothers, if you know how to carry them well. Pick a pashmina shawl or a velvet shawl with gorgeous embroidery work on its surface and borders. It will definitely be great to make a style statement and add a touch of royalty to your wedding look. Another tip is to line your dupattas with pashmina, if carrying a shawl is too much work for you.

So make smart choices and dress well, let the cold weather not be a hurdle while you enjoy with your loved ones.
